TAME or TAME EP Linea Aerea del Ecuador is the flag carrier and largest airline of Ecuador. TAME headquarters are in Quito, Pichincha Province and the main hub is located in Mariscal Sucre International Airport. The airline was formed by the Air Force of Ecuador in 1962. In 2000, TAME began the process of expanding their fleet to service commercial flights, and in 2011, it became a commercial entity and now provides domestic, international and charter flights.
Currently, TAME links 16 destinations inside country and 8 abroad. TAME airlines has a fleet of 18 aircrafts, made up of 4 Airbus A319-100s, 4 Airbus A320-300 models, 1 Airbus A330-200, 3 ATR 42-500 models, 3 Embraer E190-100LR models and 3 Quest Kodiak 100 models. The Airbus aircrafts have dual class seating, and seat from 120-280 passengers. TAME has a code share agreement with Copa Airlines and its airline partners include Aeroflot, Aerolineas Argentinas, Aeromexico, Air Europa, Copa Airlines, Alitalia, Delta Airlines, KLM, Emirates and more.
The majority of the routes serviced by TAME Airlines flights are within Ecuador, as well as to Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Peru, Venezuela and the United States. TAME flies to many cities including Baltra, Bogota, Buenos Aires, Cali, Caracas, Coca, Cuenca, Esmeraldas, Fort Lauderdale, Guayaqil, Havana, Latacunga, Lima, Loja, Macas, Machala, Manaus, Manta, Mexico City, New York City, Tena, Tulcan, Sao Paulo and many others.
