Kuwait Airways
Kuwait Airways is the national carrier of Kuwait, with its head office on the grounds of Kuwait International Airport, Al Farwaniyah Governorate. From its hub at Kuwait International Airport, Kuwait Airways flies to 36 international destinations across Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East. Kuwait Airways operates scheduled international services throughout the Middle East, to the Indian subcontinent, Europe, Southeast Asia and North America. Kuwait Airways is a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization.
Kuwait Airways operates aircraft for official State business. The fleet has a Kuwait Airways inspired livery with State of Kuwait titles. Kuwait Airways’ fleet of 23 aircraft currently consists of B777-300ERs, A320-200CEOs, A330s, A340-300s, Boeing 777-200s, Boeing 747-400s, Airbus A300-600, A310-300s, A319, A320, and Boeing 747-8BBJ. The expected delivery of the 10th and final aircraft, from this order, is in Q3 2017. Further additions to the fleet will include 15 A320neo and 10 A350 (arriving from 2019). Once the delivery of these new aircraft are concluded (2021), Kuwait Airways will boast the youngest commercial airline fleet in the world.
